Hi,

shashank, changing DDIC password at DB level in impossible because the password is hashed in older version and is now in the Secure store.

Subject: Test logon to sap System SID failed

During system copy, in last step Check DDIC password, I am getting error "Test logon to sap System <SID> failed"

Hello Gurus,

I am performing system copy of SAP ECC 6.0 SR3 based on win 2003 and Oracle 10g to Win 2008 SR2 and Oracle 11g.

I am following export/import method based on R3load.

In last step of SAPinst "Check DDIC password" I am getting below error

"Test logon to SAP System SOQ failed.
SOLUTION: Make sure that the system is started, that the user DDIC exists and that the password of user DDIC is correct."

I have provided correct password of ddic user in client 000 of source system. But still I am getting this error. I have already successfully migrated system without any issues.

I checked dev_w0 log. I found table REPOLOAD does not exist. I tried to login into sap I am getting sql error 0942 while accesing program RSPO.

My software details are
Oracle 11.2.0.1.0
SAP ECC 6.0 SR3
SAP Patch : 291

Regards
