Hi,

install a completely new instance with a different SID and system number. install SolMAn with EHP1.

it won't matter if you are already using EHP2 on the other instance, it will still install with EHP1.

Things to note: SAPMMC and SAPSOCOL being shared components, you will probably use the EHP2 version which is OK.

good luck.

Subject: Installing SOLMAN with NW 7.0 EHP2

Hi,

I have all the cd's of solman 7.0 ehp1, that comes with NW 7.0 EHP1 SR1.

My idea is to install solman on an existing server that has NW 7.0 EHP2 (that came with CRM 7.0 EHP1).
Is it possible? Because I can't select NW 7.0 EHP2 when installing with SAPINST.

Note: I'm also asking this because I'm installing this in WIN2008R2 and NW7.0 EHP1 doesn't know the SO and gives an error when creating SAPJSF java user.
