When there are personnel actions provided in SAP, I do not see any need for a custom ABAP solution.
You can configure for each action type, which infotypes are to be created. In hiring, you can enter a ref.pers.no. From this ref pers no date, a list of infotypes is displayed for user to select. These selected ITs are copied to the new pers no. User can change afterwards whatever data required.
You can call function or form from dynamic actions or use user exits for validating IT's.

How to implement personnel actions (expatriation, repatriation) in ABAP?
I couldn't find any useful BAPI.
I'm interested to simulate standard actions where consistency of updated infotypes are under strict control The best way is using sap standard mechanism to do this, if there is no standard BAPI (I can't find such)
Please tell how to proceed, to be in line with the best standards,which methods/modules/BAPI using,
critical points. The recording in SHDB of standard actions (81, 82, 83) is not helpful for me (the sequence of screens are different in recording mode and non-recording mode)
If anyone has any advice, I'll be grateful.
