Hi,
I have a requirement in which I need to get the vendor name based on the value selected from the search help in a table maintenance generator.
I created a event for table maintenance generator and written the following code.
DATA:W_NAME TYPE LFA1-NAME1.
SELECT SINGLE NAME1 INTO W_NAME FROM LFA1
WHERE LIFNR = YMM_VENDOR_M-LIFNR.
W_NAME = YMM_VENDOR_M-NAME1.
I have selected the event 05 'creating new entry'.
But still it is not working.
Kindly let me know where I am going wrong.
