Hello David,

In fact, the max extent of the tablespace has been set to unlimited, that's why I don't understand why the error occurs again and again.

In my previous post I spoke too quick :) I found an answer to my question :

[...]

Besides Continue adjustment, there is also the option Unlock table. This option only deletes the lock entry that exists for the table. Never choose Unlock table for a terminated conversion if the data only exists in the temporary table, that is the conversion terminated after Step 2 was completed and before Step 4 was completed.

So i'm really stuck :) I need to find why the change made on DB are not reflected in SAP.

Thank you David.
Have a nice day.

Subject: SE14 - table adjustment failed

Hello everybody,

Hope you are all good ?

I got an issue and i'm looking for help from you guys, I searched a lot over the internet but didn't find any temporary workaround with my problem :

While importing a transport into my system, I saw an error in the log like : Check free space failed for table xxx.

One friend of mine told me to adjust the xxx (forgot the name, not in office right now :) ) table but the job failed a step 3. Now the table cannot be viewed in se16, not viewed in the database...

(Job failed with error : max extent reached, but the tablespace has been then parameter to unlimited and same error occurs again and again...)

Is there any solution which permit to cancel this aborted adjustment and to make this table viewed again ? (I saw "unlock table on se14 but don't know really what it will do..)

Or the only solution is to finish the adjustment process for the table to be operationnal on the system ?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

Have a nice day.
Cath.
