Is there any ONLINE or OFFLINE backup in mssql server 2005.??
Am going to use SIMPLE as RecoveryMode for backup, after restore of files .MDF & .LDF, is there any other files to restore [for eg; archive files of oracle will be restored for point in time]?
And after restore, the PRD client would be in the QAS but don't want that client? i need the existing or new client number?
Please correct me if am wrong, because am not familiar with these things.

Follow the steps in the System copy Guide and in SAP Notes 151603 and maybe you also need 551915.
You should patch the SQL Server before performing the copy.
