Hi,
Use Tx RZ11 and change the value of parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time to 0.
You will now not get this runtime issue while debugging, however set it back to the original setting when the debugging is complete.

Hello all,
I have an ABAPer who is trying to debug his program. Trouble is, the system hangs up when he tries to. Then at the end, an error messages appears that says maximum runtime exceeded.
How can I resolve this issue? Earlier this morning, the ABAPer was able to debug successfully.
And then I encountered several long running jobs by other users that I had to kill. During this long-running-job issue and after I have killed them, the ABAPers can no longer debug.
Please advise.
