Not at all, this is not what I am saying, sales order process remains same whether EDI or ALE, just understand what these two term stand for. Your customer and vendors may not be using SAP so EDI means map their sales order to sap sales order and so on .. thus EDI and mapping and blah blah. So your case is not EDI it is ALE now your promotions are internal matters so ALE. I recommend Arvind Nagpal EDI-ALE book, it costs nuts but is worth million dollars read it and then we will resolve the issues . //br alok
