You can define a low value asset and depreciation the whole amount in single month.

Hi,
My client wanted to depreciate all the depreciation at once with out using scrap functionality.
Scenario: bought an asset 01.04.2011 with 3600/- and useful life 3 years monthly dep. is 100. posted depreciation till august then unexpectedly want to post all the depreciation amount at once.
Is there any way to do the same.
Options which I am looking:
1. change depreciation key - we maintained depreciation key in asset class.. so system will not allow to change the depreciation key in asset master data
2. Can I reduce useful life?
