As the GR email is going to a user, not a vendor, we aren't concerned about the email going nowhere as such. We changed the recipient from buyer to requisitioner in RVCOMFZ2 user exit USEREXIT_KOMPBME_PARTNER, and this works well with MLGR - the user receives the email with no problems. The only problem is that the user receives an email per item. We want to make this collective, and the "simple mail" option doesn't seem to be able to do this. So we thought we'd duplicate WE03 to print AND email, via external send, to the requisitioner. Don't suppose your previous configuration can cover off this by chance? Would really like to believe that we can use pre-existing smartforms and programs and not have to start from scratch with development.

Client requires an email to be sent on GR of a PO. The email needs to detail the items GR'd. I would expect WE03 covers the requirements in terms of content. Currently the print program is YBAA_M07DR (FORM ENTRY_WE03), SmartForm is ZBAA_MMGR3. Predelivered by SAP. Changed the transmission medium to External Send and the processing routine. The access sequence is now 0002. Partner function MP is maintained. On save of the material document, a dump occurs. External send is working already in the PO arena. Overall aim is to get the GR Collective slip to attach or appear in the content of the email message. The reason behind is: GR's are performed at the store for all direct charge items. The storeperson enters the GR. On save of the GR, an email should send to Outlook notifying the Recipient of the goods arrival. Previously MLGR was used, however this generated 1 email per line item, when 1 email collectively was required (a GR of 40 items generates 40 emails, not ideal). Not often that a PO is across different purchasers, so not an issue for the client. MLGR is not able to populate for > 1 item (unless you can tell me how?). This is a requirement, to list all items on the GR. WE03 holds all information required. Assistance is very much appreciated! | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
