You might want to use LIS9 for this scenario, after the INSS of IT2001 that way the person gets a list of wage types they may need to be delimited because of say a long term sickness?

With the business scenario described, it is definitely required through PA40. This is not for ESS to be used by the employee requiring leave obviously. It could be part of a Change Request. It should be used by a HR/Payroll/Time admin after receiving approval from the employee's manager.

In IT 14, you may need overview. You may review the others based on the requirement and possible business scenarios.
