Toolbox sap-basis Hi,
1. There should be no need to perform a local client copy.
2. You would be better off performing a Homogenous System Copy of DEV to SND then export PRD client and import into SND.502.
In this case you can be sure that all client independent objects are now in the SND system.
Remember a during the Remote client copy you can't use your Source (PRD) system.

We need your help to sort out the remote client copy issues:
We want to have a copy of Dev (customizing) and PRD Clients on Sandbox for testing and for this I have created two new clients in Sandbox (Dev-501 and PRD-502) and we already have a client 500 in Sandbox which is a copy of Production (refreshed one year ago).
1. Do we need to perform a local client copy on the newly created clients in SandBox (501 and 502), if yes from which clients (000 or 500)...?
I did a test run (simulation) of remote client copy on Sandbox (from DEV to SND) the result is huge difference in Table diff., Table conversion, Field missing, etc… and those are mostly standard objects for which I don't even find Transport requests in the source system (DEV).
2. We have all the systems running on same SP, then why there is huge difference in the
standard objects between the source and target systems.
3. How would we be able to synchronize the objects on the target system with source system
when there is no transport request created on the source system for the standard objects.
3. How would we be able to accomplish the remote client copy with that huge difference…?
