Hi OB09 relates to the account determination required for posting exchange function loss / gain accounts and related balance sheet adjustment account. This includes separate account determination for both realized and valuation differences. Leaving the currency field blank indicates that you use one common set of G L accounts for accounting, irrespective of currencies and it applies at company code level. Your account determination can be ever more specific in defining multiple sets of G L accounts. a. currency-specifically, b. Currency type specifically ( local currency, group currency etc) c. a combination of a and b. Regards VidhyaDhar

Must one maintain this for USD, GBP, Euro, etc before they can work? I am aware that sometimes, if some currency fields are left blank, it is an indication that all currencies are automatically provided for. Is my assumption correct?
