Subject: Message Output Not Working For Purchase Order
I have created a new Output type for Purchase Orders. The output type is ZEML and the purpose is to email a copy of the PO to a Sales Rep. I have set the output type with an Access Seq. of Z001 with access number 4 – Purchase Order / Item Category. The fields are:
Condition Document Structure Document Field Label
EKORG KOMKBEA EKORG Purchase Org.
PSTY KOMPBEA PSTYP Item Category
When I create the Purchase Order and review the Messages I do not see this output type. When I do the Analysis of the Output I see this:
For output type ZEML, Access 04, Message 524, Access Not Made (Initialized Field)
In the display of the data the Analysis shows an ! for the Item Category Value
It appears it is not finding the Item Category in the line item or it can not convert the data. If I look at the PO Line Item in SE16 I see that the value of the PO Line Item is 5 for Item Category. This is the way the output type is set up, for PO Line Item, Item Category of 5. I do not understand what the ! means. I assume it means it does not know what the data is.
Any help in making this work would be appreciated.
