What was their secret?

It is well-known that 3 expert programmers sitting back-to-back in a small office can outdo a "team" of 200 average programmers in software project development.

Subject: Tracking Royalties

We have a situation where we need to track and pay royalties to partners for enhancements they have added to our products. These add-ons are product specific and apply to both inventoried and non-inventoried items (software licenses). How have other companies tracked royalties? We need to track quantity sold, sales and cost.
