Like Terry say it depends how your system is configured in my case i get the report looking for combination of accounts and sap documents for sales and cost in the GLPCA

Yip,
Depending on how your GL is structured (and how your system is configured in general) such a report might be fairly straightforward, or it might be quite complex. I have had pretty good luck in the past picking records out of table GLPCA, which is a kind of cross-reference between General Ledger and Profit Center Analysis.
