I have a requirement for a report consists of over 25 pages, they all includes data with Fiscal year and the data we are using in the development environment only has data up to 2008. all pages of lists depending on fiscal year for three years 2011, 2010, 2009 or 2010,2009, 2008 but since development environment scrambled data only to 2008 I reduced the condition for the year with -3 or -2 according where it comes in relation to fiscal year jan-july. Once the project deployed to production, I can't go in and change the condition for any of the list queries. I need to create a global variable or find a way to access the server name or host name or IP address and I can compare against it to dynamically executes one part versus the other.
SO IS THERE ANY COMMAND IN COGNOS TO ACCESS THE SERVER NAME OR HOST NAME in REPORT STUDIO OR any other suggestions will be appreciated.
