You should run MRP on both plants. In the background job you create to run MRP (MDBT), run MRP on plant A, then MRP on plant B. When you run MRP on plant A, this will create a requirement on plant B. The settings so plant B will get the requirements from plant A can be done on the special procurement field for plant A on the MRP2 view. Create a special procurement key (tcode OMD9) with the setting of procurement type F and special procurement type U and input the plant B. Regards Stuart

Hi, We have two plants in two different company codes. Plant A and plant B. now plant A needs material from plant B. so users in plant A will create STO on plant B. Now there is a different way of creating STO and that is through MRP run where MRP run will create STO. my questions are :- a ) In which plant MRP will be run b) how MRP will know that there is a demand from plant A and what are the settings needed. a brief write up would be good regds Pamela. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
