We have followed this:
Planning horizons for the plant is 100
MRP data for the material:
MRP type: PD
Lot size: HB Replenish to maximum stock level
Maximum stock level: 3000
Planned delivery time: 20 Days
From PS network activity:
Requirement qty : 5000 CAN
Requirement date: 26.07.2011 (DD.MM.YYYY)
When running MRP (transaction MD03) we are using parameters:
Processing key: NETCH Net Change in Total Horizon
Create purchase req: 2 Purchase requisitions in opening period
Delivery schedules 1 No schedule lines
Create MRP list 1 MRP list
Planning mode 3 Delete and recreate planning data
Scheduling 1 Determination of Basic Dates for Planned
Planning result:
14.01.2011 stock 0
26.07.2011 Pld Ord : 5000
26.07.2011 Order reserv. 5000-
Now the system creates a Planned order for 5000 CAN and the requirement date is 26.07.2001 (this is ok, because is the requirement date)
But now we have a new issues. We want the requirement qty in the planned order be the maximum stock level, means: 3000 CAN. What can we do in this case?
The reason is because the requirement quantities in PS are for the all project, and we want to "split" the quantities.
I know in the P.O we can have a Delivery schedule to indicate the date on which the goods are to be delivered and quantities. I would like to know if s it possible to copy these information from PS. Otherwise the people from purchase department should know this schedule.

We are using MRP type "VB: Manual reorder point planning" for some construction materials we have physically located in the warehouse and we are consuming in the project.
We want to know which MRP type we should use for some materials we have included in the network activities as "L" item category to be sure these material are planned to be used in the future (using the activity related offset). In this case we want the system automatically create the purchase requisition only when the requirement date is reached.
