Most likely, you have a difference between posted and planned because one or both transactions only posted in the AA submodule and did not successfully post in FI. Did AFAB ran without errors?

The best thing to do will be to reverse the wrong entries and repost with the correct transaction type. To reverse, use t-code AB08.

Good luck.

Subject: Difference between Planned & Posted Depreciation due to usage of wrong Transaction Type

User wrongly posted credit memo in Dec'2010 with transaction type 105 instead of 160. Asset was capitalized in 2009. Also, after posting the credit memo, the net book value was to be zero. Still user also posted a write up & ran AFAB. Now there is a difference between posted & planned depreciation? In Posted Tab, the net book value is equal to the write up amount & in Planned Tab, the calculations are different. How to correct this mess? Depreciation Method is SLM.
