LSMW is a limited form of BDC. BDC programming can let you program around
issues that LSMW might not be able to overcome. No promises, but there is a
chance there.
Additionally, I know that for a fact, I could do it with with the licensed
version of GuiXT. Getting the necessary licenses and the necessary training
would be pretty expensive, however it applies to soooooo many other
problems... Anyway, that's another possibility.
Hopefully, someone else out there will come up with a better or more
specific solution for you.
