Hi Irrshaad,

For scheduling Database backup follow these steps:-
Go To DB13--> Cliclk on Full Database Backup--> On the page you will find
"Recurrence" tab there you can schedule the database backup job as per your
wish i.e day wise, weekwise, etc.

Hope it helps

Subject: How to take complete backup of SAP system on SQL server

Hi Irrshaad,

This group is NOT intended as a training Group. This Group assumes you have knowledge on the SAP products and relevant Databases.

Creating a backup device in SQL server is a basic function that is fully described in the online Books in the SQL Server Management Studio.

That being said, Start the SQL Server Management Studio -> Server Objects -> Backup Devices.
Devices R3DUMP0 and R3DUMP1 can be configured to the Tape device.

Regards
