Hi

Please check the G L Account to see if you have defined it as a
reconciliation account. If so, then you cannot use the account for direct
postings in transactions.

I am trying to calculate the interest in Foreign Currency and I am getting the error "Account 100002 in company code HPL9 cannot be directly posted to" on the same parameters when I calculate the interest in INR.

Please Suggest.

Also, if possible please tell me the steps to calculate the interest in Foreign Currency.
