Hello, Experts! We have implemented Benefits but not Payroll in SAP (ECC 6.0) and have the rest of payroll outsourced to ADP. We are using ADP Connections / Payforce with ADP and pay our employees bi-weekly. Everything is working perfectly EXCEPT when we terminate an employee. Regardless of an employee's day of termination within a month, they are granted medical benefits to the last day of that month. SO in SAP, the benefits infotypes for medical, dental and vision plans have an end date of the last day of that month. The problem is when an employee terminates on the 8th of the month - we run payroll on the 11th and it will CONTINUE DEDUCTING benefits costs through to the end of the month (this is a problem for employees receiving severance or commission checks). I believe SAP is handling this correctly, and I believe we have NO flexibility in changing the standard IDOC coming out of SAP, so my only option is to fiddle with the conditions and expressions in ADP Connection and I'm stumped. My idea is to use compare the YYYYMM date of the pay period with the YYYYMM end date of the wage types / benefits plans and when they are equal pass zeros, but I can't figure out the logic with expressions and conditions in ADP Connections. This has to be a problem for a number of SAP/ADP customers. Any ideas? THANKS!!! Christine | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
