UNSPSC is a material grouping system. Therefore as Lexington says, the Material Group field should be used. WG21 is the transaction to add these to the table. I advise that you only set up those material groups which your organization will use, not the whole 20 000 + values otherwise you will find yourselves having all manner of material groups being used inappropriately.

Good Morning SAP Experts,
We are trying to input United Nations Standard Product and Services Codes
(UNSPSC) into the material master in SAP. These codes are numeric and eight
digits in length - example 40000000. I have tried mapping these to the
"International Article Number" EAN/UPC number field on the Basic Data 1
screen on the material master but it is being rejected. Does anyone know
what the UNSPSC code equivalent field in SAP material master? Thanks for all
the input.
