I did not know these stages also applied to "working with SAP" ;-)
I sure went to steps 2 Anger, 3 Bargaining and 5 Acceptance in this case.
But I'm no quitter so it will never come to step 4 Depression

We run the SAP R3 Business Suite since jan 2007 (modules FICO, SD, MM,...) and also have the BW-module in place.
Our office users have one these license types - mySAP Business Suite Professional (cat. II) - user type 52
- mySAP Business Suite Limited Professional (cat. III) - user type 53
They have a login for the R3 system, and a login for the BW/BI system.
For R3 we use the standard SAP GUI 710 client.
For BW we use the Business Explorer (aka BexAnalyzer)
But now we want to give BW-access to our sales force people, mostly from at their home. They don't need R3 access, only BW access using Business Explorer
Our SAP dealer suggests that we need extra "mySAP Business Suite Limited Professional (cat. III)" licenses for these, and there is no other solution.
To me, this license type seems too broad/expensive for a reporting-only user.
So I looked at a SAP document called "Licensing SAP Products - A Guide for Buyers" and thought that "SAP Application Business Information User" would do, but they responded that this user type is for Business Objects reporting only. (We do not need/have BO).
If your company also has similar "reporting users" who only use BW through Business Explorer (BexAnalyzer) I would very much like to hear which license type YOU have in place for these users.
