STRUST --> Right Click SSL server Standard --> Replace --> Name : *.mydomain.com Then it it produces another screen which is for the Application Server. Here it shows the Hostname : saperp & Distinguished Name: CN=saperp.saperp.saperp.saperp.mydomain.com ... My Question for the Application Server can I change the CN to support.support.support.support.mydomain.com ? I would like for my users to be able to access support.support.support.support.mydomain.com on the internet using a SSL Certificate which I will apply for from SAP. I would like to apply for a SSL Certifcate from SAP and would like to make sure I apply it correctly the first time. So do I leave it as saperp.saperp.saperp.saperp.mydomain.com and apply a cert from SAP and then the users will still be able to go to support.mydomain or do I have to apply for a cert that is for support.support.support.support.mydomain.com = CN:support.support.support.support.mydomain.com Thanks for you help in advance Main SSL server Standard Name *.mydomain.com Org. (Opt) I00xxx Comp./Org. SAP Web AS Country CA O=SAP Trust Community, C=DE Algorithm Key Length 2048 App Server saperp 1 CN=saperp.saperp.saperp.saperp.mydomain.com, OU=I00xxx, OU=SAP Web AS, O=SAP Trust Community, C=DE or do I change to: saperp 1 CN=support.support.support.support.mydomain.com, OU=I00xxx, OU=SAP Web AS, O=SAP Trust Community, C=DE The whole purpose of this is I want my users externally to browse to support.support.support.support.mydomain.com which is HTTPS enabled. Do I leave it as saperp.saperp.saperp.saperp.mydomain.com or support.support.support.support.mydomain.com Thanks again

In SNOTE : 510007 is says create the name as Name = *.<WebAS Domain> which I have done It then asks fulls in the DN Name automatically to the HOSTNAME of my server IE: test.domain.com Can I change the DN to the domain I want my users to connect too? IE: support.domain.com I would like the certificate generated for the use of support.domain.com Can I leave certificate request as test.domain.com and when users browse you support.domain.com it will work ? Or do I have to request a certificate for that domain? Sorry if it sounds confusion. Thanks | | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
