Some brief history of my situation. Based on my past experience where both of the clients are locked, no users logon, the remote client copy (SCC9) from PRD to QAS, took about more than 3 days to complete. This is based on the current PRD database size which is about 400GB. I've suspected the bottleneck could be from the network, but I'm not 100% sure as I do not have sufficient evidences or findings. I'll be doing another remote client copy soon, but this time the PRD system will not be locked as I could not afford to let my system down for too long, I would like to know if there is a way to check or investigate if my network (speed or bandwidth) is the main culprit or not. How to check if my network speed is really slow and causing some problem during my client copy? What is the command or method to use? Or any other suggestion on the network portion? Appreciate if you could help and advise. Thanks. - Peter | | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
