Also check MMPV Does your system allow posting of negative quantities?. If yes that must be deactivated as well. In SAP Standard the system does not allow negative posting of items unless it is allowed in the material master.

Subject: Stocks on a particular date
We are in 4.7 version how do I get the stocks on a particular date for any material and further within a particular month if the stock is not available on a particular date the system should not allow to deliver the goods
Currently system checks only the stocks on a particular date
Eg
There is a situation that stock is updated on 27th of November whereas the goods issue for delivery or consumption happens on 10th of November the system allows this scenario
MB5B report on 10th November shows a negative stock which is incorrect
due this the moving average price also gets vitiated for the material
How do I solve this issue is there a solution
We are facing severe audit objections and further we need control on dispatches since there is an impact on subsidy
