This I18N config changes the editor for text elements; I got the impression that the original poster was interested in changing the code editor. And, as far as I know, you only have two choices for editing code in a Smart Form: classic ABAP editor or new ABAP editor. In either case, you are still stuck with editing your code in the unfriendly little window within the Smart Form UI. If anybody knows of a way to use a real full-screen code editor for a Smart Form code node, I'd be thrilled to know about it.

One half-measure I have adopted is to use subroutines liberally in your code nodes. That way, you at least get to write your subroutines in the slightly-larger editor window on the Form Routines tab of the Global Definitions page. It's a small improvement, but better than nothing.

Cheers,
Terry
