Hi, Thought just to post this before you give the reply to my earlier post. First of all find out why you need split valuation. It is helpful in cases where there are different procurement alternatives like Inhouse, Procured and Sub-contracted. When you have split valuation there can be three scenarios 1. You do not standard cost and for Valuation Category X you have a price of say 10 and for the another you have 20 then in the top view of the material master you would have a price of 15 but movements happen based on the batch selected. 2. You create a standard cost estimate for inhouse and the top view of the material master shows this price but still you can maintain a separate price for another valuation category 3. You activate mixed costing and define the procurement alternative percentages and create cost estimate as well for the in house then the top view shows the weighted average price. With Regards, ARI

However, when we use CK24 to mark and release the standard cost estimate, system only allow one costing version to be updated to the material master to one valuation type only. We currently using split valuation. For split valuation, we need to maintain two different prices for the same material using different valuation type. The question is how do we update two different standard cost to two different valuation type in the material master for the same material number? | | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
