You don't need to know the person in this forum to answer the question. By the way the question wasn't about assets or liabilities. This is in relation to electronic bank statements (EBS) and it was anwered already. thanks

But it is ok. See my opinion about the sign. In SAP we have:
Assets = +
Liability = -
Incoming = -
Expenses = +
So, the sign depend on the operation or somatory. This is standard.
