Hi Snowy,

What checks we can perform to confirm that SAP,Database and cluster resources were shutdown properly?

I have just restored all the data files of PRD to QAS ,not the origlog/mirrlog files. Will it be sufficient to restore/recover the database?

Regards,
Vishal

Hi,

it looks like your database was not really OFFLINE when you backed it up... or your did not restore your files properly. check origlog/mirrlog date and time stamps. compare with data files date/time.

finally, I would gibe you the path to origlog* files 1 by 1 until you receive message "Media recovery complete".
