You can activate the BAdI or user exit for this particular default.

Can a material number be assigned to account assignment "Assets" directly? When we procure the material it should automatically be connected to the correct asset class and also the correct balance account.

Some materials might sometimes be procured for direct consumption, and sometimes they should be assets (depending on the total value of the purchase). Is there a way to set this up automatically, so that the system recognises when to post to an asset and when to post to a cost centre?
