Hi,

Since, there could be more purchases in future against the same material which would be valuated purchase.
Now if there are material in stock with zero value and you purchased more qty, this can reduce the MAP to large difference(depending upon the quantities).
This can badly impact your future consumption value trend as well, because MAP is not correct.

To avoid this, I would suggest to create a new material (non-valuated material type).
And do movement (Rev of GI project).

This would save the audit question also.

Subject: How to transfer to stock (inventory) at ZERO Value?

We have some stock items which were bought for Project. But all of them were not used in the project. I want to bring it over to my inventory but at zero value since the project has already paid for it. I tried to do do it using MIGO (Mvt type 561)...but it took the existing value for that item during the transfe, which defeated my purpose. Can anyone suggest something. I know my MAP will vary but I am ok with it.
