I could also think of some thing similar. But for thousands of employees do you think it is a good practice.

Subject: Need to zero out quota and restart in middle of year

We have decided to move to a fiscal year instead of a calendar year for
absence quota generation, starting Nov 1st of this year!

I need to zero out the remaining quota balance and begin fresh starting
next month. Our new quota period will be Nov 1st thru Oct 31.

I would like to change the end date for the existing quota from Dec
31st, 2010 to Oct 31, 2010, and create a new quota using the same quota
type.

I would then read the balance remaining and load it into my new quota
bucket which will be valid Nov1st thru Oct 31st of next year using
IT2013. Any ideas on the best way to handle this?

Thanks in advance,
