Happened to notice this thread and thought it might be worth commenting from a Vertex perspective. Vertex O Series has steadily added capability since its release in 2003, especially regarding the support of VAT. Also O Series does support the data elements needed for the Intrastat/EC Sales List. In fact Vertex provides a number of options for the generation of those reports including utilizing the Cognos based Reporting and Analysis tool included with O Series. By the way Girish, if you liked the look of our Trans Editor type capability you will love the latest functionality in our Tax Assist in Release 6.0.
