Hello,

1. Do you have the New GL active - then use FAGLGVTR.
2. What is in the output, does it show any balances? Any warnings or errors?
3. Did you change any account from BS to PL, or PL to BS?

This year, for the first time, we're experiencing issues with the GL carry forward program. The main issue is SAP is not automatically carrying forward postings to previous year (closing entries) in to the current fiscal year, causing closing / opening GL balance discrepancies. We're running ECC6.0 w/ EHP4.

Has anyone experienced this issue recently?

My customers read the SAP documentation that states you only have to run carry forwards a single time and SAP will automatically carry forward postings to previous fiscal year. My resolution of running F.16 over again runs contrary to SAP documentation. Therefore they believe SAP is broken.

Any guidance is much appreciated as my next step is opening a note with SAP.
