Hi

Thanks that is good. My process is where I have run individual MRP for each material or collective run. I then get several orders for different items. If it is stationary I may want to consolidate into one PR. Unfortunately each order will only generate a different PR number. A gentleman wrote that it is not not technically possible to merge several MRP orders into one PR. Is that true?

If you want a time period quantity, you code these requirements in the material master mrp tabs. Example, you have a demand for 100 per day for 5 days, but you don't want to issue 5 PO;s with daily deliveries you want to take only 1 PO on the first day. You set your lot size bucket to weekly demand. Weekly demand will consolidate all demand in that week (or whatever the lot size rule) to 1 planned order, at the earliest date.
