The balance carry forward can be run as many times as required. There is no
restriction on that. However, you may not need to do it normally. OSS Note
402917 gives a fair analysis of the causes for errors in balance carry
forward.

Rajan has picked up on a possible good point, something that hasn't happened to me before.

Could F.16 be executed more than once because the first F.16 did the carry forward and created entries in GLT0. But now you have created entries in the previous fiscal year where there was no balance previously?

Then based on my current review of GLT0, you will be required to re-run F.16. I feel F.16 will only adjust the balances that exist already in GLT0. Try and have a go.
