Further, the creation of the FY Variant itself being a no-brainer, I would
assume the question should have been on the change from the current FY
Variant to the new FY Variant. Check the archives for 'Fiscal Year Variant
Change'. This may require services from SAP.

Which country? Never heard of this kind of requirement before.

Just consider the EOY would not fall on the 31st, discuss the with Accounting Manager and an auditor. My heart tells me this has something to do with taxes.
