Depends somewhat on which partner and transaction you are referring to. In terms of master data, whether a partner is unique or not is controlled via the Unique flag in configuration of the Partner type. As Tom mentioned, you cannot have more that one sold-to on a sales order. Actually, if you look at the key of table VBPA (Sales Order partner functions), you can pretty much see what is allowed and what is not. This holds header and item information. For the header or a particular item, you cannot have more than 1 partner function (eg. SP, SH, PY, BP). However, an example may suffice to illustrate how to overcome this.Suppose you have a split commission situation where 2 sales people are involved on a sales order. Create multiple partner functions (E.g. Z1, Z2) and include that in the Partner determination procedure. Now you can determine 1 sales person for Z1 and and second sales person for Z2. I've tried looking for each possibility, but I'm not sure if we could add by any other means I may be missing. For example, when you are creating a sales order, you have the partner tab from the sales header automatically filled with some partner func. like sold to, bill to, ship to etc. Is it possible to add another sold to the list of partners? I am assuming we can't add any partner func twice, but we may create a new one. So, I want to know if there is any other way to add same partnert func. twice instead of creating new one. > > Any help will be appreciated. > > Thanks. | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
