Hi Vin
I've been doing CCMS for yeas but never done it on IDES. Ignoring that though...

You can set up auto reactions without a CEN yes. You do not need to be a CEN unless doing other systems.

CCMS agents are really handy and allow better handling... but no, you no do need them... a local auto reaction will still kick off and run a function module (in client 000)
which if defined correctly will be an E-mail one... :)
