It's most likely to do with how you setup the printer in the OS side for SAP depending on how your landscape was set up. If there is a spool server dedicated for the spooling, which it is in this case you might want to check that DB server you set the printer up on.

This was the exact thing that happened to me last time. Microsoft word and notepad would most likely printer directly to the printer, like access method in G or F where it never feeds into the "spool sever" per say.

I'm not sure what OS you are using, but like I mentioned before, if it's AIX the solution is up where i posted earlier. Check it out on the OS level, also, if you are using citrix or any other 3rd party software just for SAP then you might want to check that as well, though I strongly believe it's to do with the OS side.

As David mentioned earlier SPAD looks OK.
