Hi Naveen, No. it will not. Standard third party process will not update inventory in SAP system. Do note that you have to have an account assignment to "charge to" for standard third party PO line item. In which in your case probably, a Sales Order line item. By the way, would like to share my opinion on the above business scenario. There are risks to the company for having customer's material stocks in the company premises without any system support. a) When is the stock being used? how do you issue or manage it? b) If there is any stock gain or lost, how do you handle it? c) If there is a fire or mishap happened to the storage location where customer's material are hold, how do you justify for insurance claiming? (where you do not have onhand qty or value of existing customer stock in your permises) Perhaps, I am "over cautious" or the company would have other system supporting this area to minimize the risk. Just giving my humble opinions. Cheers!
