Hi All, Thank you very much for your information. I think I could figure out this link. There is a step in IMG to assign a specific absence to absence grouping. IMG --> Payroll --> Payroll: Great Britain --> Statutory and Occupational absence -> Occupational absences --> Create Absence Grouping and Attach Absence Grouping. Though this step is OSP , but here you can define if a specific absence is SSP only or SSP and OSP or OSP only etc.... An other thing, when defining the SSP / OSP absence type we need to give a different screen number for the absence i.e 2008 (2008 Work incapacity (general)). This absence screen will give the option to display OSP /SSP entitlement details from IT2001 when a specific sickness absence is created in 2001 info type. Cheers, NL. ---------------Original Message--------------- From: nancy_lam Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2010 12:05 PM Subject: GB Payroll_SSP/SMP ( Statutory Sick pay or Statutory Maternity Pay) > Dear All, > > In GB Payroll_SSP/SMP ( Statutory Sick pay or Statutory Maternity Pay) set up. How does the system know that a specific absence type is a sick absence or Maternity absence..? So that the system can generate SSP or SMP for an employee based on the U.K legal rules when an employee is on sick or Maternity absence. > To be more clear where is the link for Sickness or Maternity Absence type and the SSP or SMP schemes ? > > Thanks, > NL | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
