Hi, I think most installations which uses a SAN to store the data files, put all the data files in a single LUN on the SAN. I just wants to know that does only for SAP DATA FILES , do we use different partitions for a PRD environment ? I have created few partitions from SAN for ECC PRD environment for log files and sap executable , however for SAP DATA files i have taken a single partition. I just wants to know that what is the best practice for PRD environment for SAP DATA Files. Right now I have taken only one partition for SAP DATA FILES.
