Hi all,

We are implementing an interface in which we are creating/updating the MM(Material Master) objects passed to the interface (in the form of an XML) .

Now as per the request, we need to update the MM attributes(may be desc and other data) and sometimes the Material type .
For updating the other MM attributes we are using BAPI_Material_savedata , but for updating Material type we are using BDC which is called after committing the changes done by the BAPI . But in this case we get a Lock error .
Can anyone pls suggest something for this problem.
