Hi Suzy
As soon as you do an AS02 or AS03 ( change asset / display asset )
furnishing your asset number and company code you would have to press enter.
You would see a tab-page called time dependent data ( would be the second
tab page at the top from the left side ). Select this tab page and use the
vertical scroll bar to pan down the screen and you would see a check box
known as Asset Shut Down on the left bottom side of the screen which can be
activated ( which prevents depreciation ) and deactivated to resume
depreciation.
