Hi Again Elsa Talking with my Waldorf contacts at SAP, it appears that not all of your profiles are getting included with the transport, which would cause you to have to generate them in the target system again. In note 571276 a) Changing the authorization data for the role Every time you change the authorization data of a role and regenerate the profile, you must create a new transport request. This is also the case if the role is part of older requests that have not yet been released. Otherwise, the transported profiles are not current. Profiles are recorded at thetime of creating the TP request so if any changes are made after the transport is created, any updates to profiles will not get recorded in that transport. Not sure if your compare issue is related but could be since it all connected together at generation time. When de-activating a unwanted object from a role in Dev1, generating the role and transport or download and upload to Dev2, the de-avtivated Auth object is now shown as unmaintained. Surely the Auth Objects should not be pulled in again? > 2. when creating new roles, maintain and generate them, download and upload to Dev 2, the roles cannot be generated in SUPC. A compare must be done and each role generated individually, even if there are no open Org Levels or unmaintained fields. However, if there are any derived roles, They can be generated and the mother role remains in status "to be Compared" > > Any assistance will be appreciated. > > Regards > ES | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
